Kimberly Denise Brown Rabins began her dance training at the age of seven with the California Ballet School, under the direction of Maxine Mahon. At the age of twelve, she had already received scholarships to the world renown, Summer Dance Laboratory in Washington, Stage 7 Dance Co. in San Diego, San Francisco Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet, and was the youngest choreographer to debut her work at the annual “Choreographer’s Concert” for the California Ballet Company.  Kimberly performed with the California Ballet Company in such ballets as: The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Bayadere, Carmen, a soloist in the 25th Gala performance of Petrushka, Choreographer’s Concerts and annual school recitals.  

Kimberly’s wide range of talents was portrayed in her college years.  She was a member of the San Diego State University (SDSU) dance team for four years, the University Dance Co. for two years, Z90/Pepsi Dance Company for two years and choreographed for numerous high school and college dance companies/teams all over the state.  In 1996, she received her B.A. in Dance from SDSU, and for five years she continued at SDSU as the head choreographer/instructor for their dance team and cheerleading squad.

In 2001, she received her M.A. in Dance with an emphasis in Dance Education from California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with honors and became a member of both a national and international honors society. 

Kimberly has performed and choreographed professionally worldwide with such artists as: Az Yet, Deborah Cox, Domino, Freak Nasty, Genuine, Keith Sweat, Montel Jordan, Trick Daddy and many more.  Kimberly creates a wide range of choreography, which has been used by: Verizon Wireless, 2 by 2. Net, the motion picture SWAT, Silk Stalking the T.V. show, Explosion the Las Vegas show, WSF World Salsa Championships in Miami, FL, CECUT – Baja California Norte, Mexico, Rosebud Productions in Japan, Irish Salsa Congress in Ireland and many more.


In the Summer of 2006 and again in 2009, Kimberly traveled to Europe, with the LDC, to go on tour featuring her choreography in the Young Tanzsommer! European Dance Festival. The summer of 2007, Kimberly’s Salsa piece was chosen, to represent Los Angeles, in the Chinese Children’s performance at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.  This event was the kick-off performance for the 2008 Summer Olympics!  Kimberly’s ONE piece was featured in the television show Platinum Weddings, on WETV, the following Spring of 2009.

Kimberly continues to be involved in the world of dance as a professor and the director of the dance discipline at ELAC, artistic director of the Let’s Dance Company (LDC), and is still one of the most sought after choreographer’s.

Kristin Chew is a native of Los Angeles.  She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. Her dance education, choreography, and performance experience has extended over the past ten years in both commercial and academic settings. She has performed theatrical dance works and repertoire choreographed by Laura Dean, Gregg Hurley, Shana Menaker, Douglas Nielsen, Andrew Vaca, and Sam Watson. As a professional dancer, Kristin worked for the Los Angeles Clippers Basketball Organization.  Her professional experience also extends to work in the music industry, television, and special events, including performances with:  Grammy award winning Beyonce Knowles, The Backstreet Boys, Outkast, NBA’s “Read to Achieve”, ABC’s Monday Night Football, NFL Pro Bowl, Fox Sports Net -West Coast Promotions, and NBC’s Sports Illustrated “Fresh Faces” model search.  As an International Touring Performance Representative for the Los Angeles Clippers, she traveled to Mexicali, Monterrey, Matamorros, Mexico, and Beijing, China.  Kristin also performed for Coca-Cola’s “Las Fanaticas”, a dance ensemble that toured nationally for Mexico National Soccer Team’s friendly games.

In Southern California, Kristin has served as adjunct faculty at El Camino College teaching dance technique and kinesiology coursework.  During her graduate studies at the University of Arizona, Kristin had the opportunity to teach dance technique and theoretical coursework, as well as represent the University of Arizona at the Impulstanz International Dance Festival in Vienna, Austria, thanks to a grant by the University of Arizona’ Graduate and Professional Student Council. Kristin Chew's diverse background in both commercial and theatrical dance has equipped her to artistically reach a variety of dance arenas, including the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleaders, East Los Angeles College’s Let’s Dance Company, El Camino College’s Dance Productions, San Marino Dance Company, and the Connecting Flights Dance Concert in Tucson, AZ. Kristin is a full-time, Assistant Professor, with the Dance Discipline at East Los Angeles College.
